Geauga County Public Library is home to six full-sized library branch locations, a mobile services department, two maker spaces, and an administrative center.

Our Story

Our story begins in 1848 with the founding of the Chardon Public Library. However, it was not until July, 1964 that the Chardon Public Library and the surrounding libraries joined forces to create the Geauga County Public Library system our county knows today.

Our Goals

We’re driven by our strategic plan to engage, connect, and inspire the residents of Geauga County to make a positive impact in the lives of our patrons and the Geauga community.

Geauga County Public Library posts positions as they become available.  Copies of postings are made available at every library branch location.
