It takes a village they say. Here at GCPL we are proud of our team. They contribute in various roles to keep library operations smoothly rolling along. They are valued members of the community.  #MeetGCPL highlights a library team member and lets you get to know them a little bit more, so when you see them at your local Branch you can connect further.

For this #MeetGCPL we would like to introduce you to Marcia. Marcia is originally from Moundsville, WV. You can find her working as a Circulation Clerk at the Bainbridge Branch.

– Favorite book:
My favorite book is and will forever be To Kill a Mockingbird by Harper Lee.

– Favorite vacation spot:
I have a daughter in Northern Ireland, so it’s a given that NI is my favorite place to vacation.

– How she spends free time:
Bicycling, reading, and ushering at Playhouse Square. 

– Something new she would like to try:
Tap dancing, because I love dancing.

– Something she suggests everyone should try:
Get outside your comfort zone and do something outrageous.

– Most memorable library experience:
Most memorable experience is getting my first library card around the age of 10 and checking out books for the first time.
