Jamie’s Minestrone, submitted by Rebecca from Chardon, who says, “On a healthier note, a recipe I got from a Jamie who may or may not be the Jamie in the post. I lost the original & was lucky enough to stumble upon it again online. The kiddo helps me make this soup, and it’s one of the few ways I can get him to eat veggies. The parmesan really makes it. ”

Spicy Dr. Pepper Pulled Pork, Submitted by Lorie from Bainbridge, who says, “I am usually NOT a fan of pulled pork because I don’t’ like BBQ sauce. I am a fan of this particular recipe because you use Dr. Pepper instead of BBQ sauce. This is a super easy recipe, you just combine all ingredients and place in the oven in the morning and by dinner time, you have an awesome pulled pork. I usually serve this with coleslaw on top to cool the spiciness of the pork.”

Raspberry Crumble Bars, Submitted by Julie from the Bainbridge Branch, who says, “This recipe is very easy, and the family loved it! A few notes… if you don’t have raspberry bushes in your yard, 4 cups is about 3 plastic 6-ounce containers from the grocery store. Also, you could use a little less sugar than what the recipe says, especially if your raspberries are very sweet.”

Lazarus Bread Pudding Whiskey, Submitted by Andrea from Geauga West, who says, “I don’t cook it in boiling water so it takes almost twice as long to bake. My family and I have modified it during quarantine to be Lazarus Banana Bread Pudding with Whiskey Sauce or Caramel sauce for the kids. We made homemade banana bread then sliced it up in place of the regular bread in the original recipe. It was delicious. My boys have enjoyed it warmed with a scoop of vanilla ice cream served over it! Both bread puddings have been a delicious treat during the past month.”
