Sign up for the 100 Book Challenge!
If you’ve been looking for a reason to read outside your comfort zone and expand your literary horizons, join the GCPL 100 Book Challenge. Participants have two years to read 100 books from a librarian curated list of over 350 titles in various genres. That’s about a book a week. Granted, it’s not for wimps. But, the prize is worth the effort.
Here’s how it works: Sign up for the challenge at any GCPL reference desk or online to receive a folder or digital document with your list to keep track of what you’ve read. After you’ve read a book, visit the reference desk at any GCPL location or request quiz questions online to answer a simple question about the book. That’s it!

When you finish 100 books, you will receive a GCPL fleece jacket or vest that will allow you to show off your literary prowess with pride. Click here to go to our Goodreads page to check out the complete list of challenge books, reviews and descriptions.
The 100 Book Challenge is sponsored by the Geauga County Library Foundation.
