Stay at Home and Read Fundraiser

Support the Library by Staying Home and Reading….Really

Sound too good to be true? You are cordially invited to not attend our first non-event on Friday October 23, the Stay at Home and Read Fundraiser.

It is unlikely that for some time the Geauga County Library Foundation will be able to host in-person events or book sales that we depend on for fundraising. In order to raise money for the library, we are happy to announce our first annual Stay at Home & Read Fundraiser.

Participating is easy.  Select a book, get in your comfy clothes, pour a beverage of your choice and get lost in the pages! Support Geauga County Public Library by donating the money you would have spent on a night out. All proceeds help further the mission of GCPL to inspire, connect and engage Geauga County citizens.

Share your love for GCPL on Facebook, Twitter and Instagram and tell us what you’ll be reading.  Include a photo of how you’re spending your night in. Include #GCPLStayHome to be entered into a prize drawing. Donations are accepted for this cause anytime online or by mail.

Suggested Donations

You can donate any amount. Below are suggested donations with the equivalent cost of a night out.

$25 – Parking Downtown        $50 – Dinner and a Movie       $100 – Concert Ticket       $200 – Night at the Casino

Become a Sponsor

The success of the first annual Stay at Home and Read Fundraiser depends greatly on the generosity of sponsors.  Please consider becoming a sponsor of this unique event! Your donation will help support all GCLF literacy programs such as the Ohio Governor’s Imagination Library that sends every enrolled child age 0-5 in Geauga County a free book at no cost to the family.
