The Rainmaker, by John Grisham
Having never read John Grisham until this summer, I cannot put his books down. His writing style has not wavered from his first books to his most recent and each one holds the reader in suspense until the end. Rainmaker one of his older books is about a young lawyer who takes on a case that he should never have won. The book gives a lot of insight into the legal system but is presented so the reader can understand it. As with his other titles you never see the twist at the end coming. The book is geared towards adults and may change how you perceive our justice system and I would recommend giving this author a chance even if you don’t like legal stories.
