Summer is here in Northeast Ohio. It is the time of year to kick back and relax with a good book from Geauga County Public Library, large print of course.

One of my favorite things to do on a summer day is read on the deck chaise lounge with a large print book propped up against my feet. I can read and sip lemonade at the same time!

Whether you are traveling or staying deck side, GCPL has new large print titles to take with you, such as The Flight Attendant by Chris Bohjalian, Uncommon Type by Tom Hanks, Promise Me, Dad by Joe Biden, and Deadly Dog Days by Northeast Ohio author Jamie M. Blair.

One of my picks is I Need a Lifeguard Everywhere but the Pool by Lisa Scottoline and Francesca Serritella. This humorous, non-fiction title is a collection of stories from this mother-daughter team about their life experiences.
